Job summary

Oriental Bank is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join our Auto team in the US. You will manage key auto dealership relationships, guide financing solutions, and help grow loan production while delivering an outstanding dealer and customer experience.

You will collaborate with Credit, Operations, Floor Plan, Retail, and Business Support teams to ensure efficient processes and superior service. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, automotive, banking, lending, or relationship management.
• Strong sales, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of automotive industry, dealership operations, vehicle financing, or consumer lending.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business technology applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned auto dealerships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealer owners, GMs, finance managers, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct regular dealer visits to support growth and partnerships.
• Provide guidance on financing solutions, programs, and processes.
• Execute business development strategies to increase market presence.
• Identify opportunities to grow loan production and dealer penetration.
• Support timely closing and funding of auto loan transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an outstanding dealer and customer experience.
• Stay informed on market and industry trends to support business decisions.
