Job summary

Monro is seeking a skilled Technician at our Lewes, DE location. The role involves performing basic vehicle diagnostics, routine repair and maintenance to manufacturer specifications, and delivering 5-star service through clear communication of issues and solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and document additional services.
• Assist in inventory management including pulling tires and parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition at all times.
• Follow safety standards and Monro policy in all tasks.
• Test drive vehicles per policy while following traffic laws.
