Job summary

Toyota/Lexus of Knoxville is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers and callers. You will greet visitors, answer phones, direct inquiries to the appropriate department, and support office operations with clerical tasks.

Ideal candidates present a professional appearance, have reliable availability for weekday shifts from 1pm to 8pm, and can communicate clearly with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle calls and direct callers appropriately.
• Maintain professional appearance and courteous conduct.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate person for resolution
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, minimizing hold time
• Assist managers with clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient with customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures and internal procedures for assisting customers
• Hours for this shift are 1pm to 8pm Monday-Friday, with flexibility to cover other shifts
