Job summary

GEICO is seeking a FieldAuto Damage Trainee in the Nashville, TN area. You will inspect vehicle damage, estimate repair costs, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential. Starting pay is $27.98 per hour or $56,375 annually, with benefits from day one, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and tuition assistance through GEICO Strive.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals preferred.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license that meets company underwriting guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage, estimate vehicle repair costs, negotiate settlements.
• Partner with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Provide reassurance and solutions to customers after an accident.
• Review insurance contracts, inspect vehicles, write estimates, and manage rental cars.
