Job summary

Prism IT Global in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced auto claims adjuster to manage complex auto claims from investigation through resolution. You will analyze policy language, evidence, and damages to determine coverage and liability and negotiate settlements within authority.

You will use Guidewire ClaimCenter and data insights to document decisions, maintain organized files, and collaborate with appraisers and business partners.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent auto claims adjusting experience.
• Experience handling auto liability claims with coverage investigations and disputed liability.
• Independently manage an assigned auto claims inventory from investigation to resolution.
• Licensing: acquire and maintain required insurance adjuster licensing within 90 days (3 attempts).
• Successful completion of job-related assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex auto claims from investigation through resolution.
• Investigate and evaluate claims using policy language and evidence to make coverage and settlement decisions.
• Negotiate first- and third-party physical damage claims within authority.
• Document decisions using Guidewire ClaimCenter and data-informed insights.
• Proactively manage an assigned claims inventory and drive claims toward timely resolution.
• Collaborate with managers, appraisers, and business partners to resolve issues and create a seamless experience for members and claimants.
• Support workload surges and catastrophe-response operations as needed, including on-call dates and potential outside-hours work.
• Travel or deploy with minimal notice during designated catastrophe events.
