Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs, restoring pre-accident condition. The role involves disassembly, repair, and reassembly while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence across the shop.

You will work with the team to achieve KPIs and represent the Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group at all times, ensuring safety and craftsmanship on every job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair vehicles.
• Replaces or repairs glass, windshields and interior parts as needed.
• Prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure work quality.
