Job summary

TAG Auto Group is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to repair damaged vehicle body parts in accordance with our specifications, processes and time standards.

The role involves analyzing, assessing and fixing damaged vehicles, repairing, replacing and refinishing outer body parts, and fixing internal automotive structures. You will work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years minimum experience in collision repair
• Knowledge of vehicle structures to remove/replace components
• Demonstration of safety precautions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 70+ lbs occasionally
• Dexterity and coordination for climbing, stooping, kneeling and crawling

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles per estimate and restore bodywork to original condition using specialized tools
• Communicate with management on additional repairs or delays
• Maintain and safely use tools and equipment; keep work area clean and safe
• Wear required PPE and follow safety protocols
• Assist others in repair and prep work as schedule allows
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations
