Job summary

TAG Auto Group is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to repair, replace and refinish damaged vehicle body parts in our shop in Indiana. You will assess damage, align structural components, and restore paint and finishing to factory standards.

In this production environment, you will work with skilled teammates to meet estimates and timelines, maintain safety standards, and ensure high-quality results for our customers.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in collision repair or auto body work.
• Knowledge of vehicle structure to remove/replace damaged components (doors, windscreens, fenders).
• Demonstrated safety precautions and PPE adherence in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and established standards; prepares vehicles for body repair.
• Communicates with management about additional repairs or delays.
• Maintains and uses tools/equipment safely; keeps work area clean and safe.
• Keeps up with applicable regulations affecting body shop operations.
• Assists other technicians as needed to support timely completion of repairs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
