Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous attention to quality and customer experience. You will work with a team to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace parts and glass, weld and repaint as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience reading repair orders and following specifications.
• Ability to use shop tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan and estimate repair work and costs for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
