Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and/or completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship; strong ability to read orders

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
