Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

Key duties include planning repairs, realigning chassis, replacing parts, welding and repainting, and ensuring work orders stay within labor time guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles accurately.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace parts as needed.
• Weld and paint vehicles to factory specifications.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
