Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with speed and quality, while delivering excellent customer service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles and work as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using a variety of tools, and ensuring work meets KPIs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates.
• Use cutting tools, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Repair dents and apply filler resin when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to spec.
• Complete work within labor guidelines and inspect results.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
