Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence across the shop.

You will work with other technicians to plan repairs, estimate costs, and maintain KPIs, serving as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass.
• Weld and fit parts, then repaint to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
