Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Baltimore is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, realign chassis, replace parts, weld, and paint to factory specifications, collaborating with a driven team to meet KPIs and uphold brand standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or an apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; tech training preferred.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair methods and tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and repair work, preparing cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles following standards.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and install new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair glass, interior parts, and apply paint to factory specs.
• Ensure work completes within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
