Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Springfield, MO is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver expert vehicle repairs and exceptional customer experiences. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, realign frames, replace damaged parts, weld, and repaint to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You’ll work with a team to meet KPIs, handle cost estimates, and ensure repairs meet quality standards. A high school diploma or equivalent and a technical pathway are required; lifting up to 30

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plans repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Realigns chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts.
• Welds, fits parts, and repaints vehicles as needed.
• Completes work orders within labor guidelines and inspects repairs.
