Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will plan repairs, prepare estimates, and apply a range of tools to ensure high-quality results.

Key duties include realigning chassis, replacing damaged parts, welding and repainting, and inspecting completed work. Strong attention to safety and ability to work with minimal supervision are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong grasp of tools and repair methods for vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts or windshields as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish repairs to factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final work.
