Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform meticulous repairs and rebuilds on customer vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. The role emphasizes speed, quality, and exceptional customer experience within a collaborative shop environment.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, replace parts, and ensure work meets KPIs. The position offers a competitive flat-rate compensation structure and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, realign chassis and replace parts as needed.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts and paint as required.
• Weld and reassemble components to factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
