Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Lebanon, OH is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence across the team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may include a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. Strong tool skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
