Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle assessment and quality repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with the company’s promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

You’ll work with a team to meet KPIs, using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, and welders to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts and apply finish as needed.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and fit parts, prepare and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Verify work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
