Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, delivering a premium customer experience. The role involves disassembly, repair, and reassembly with emphasis on speed, quality, and teamwork to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, repairing dents, realigning frames, replacing parts and glass, welding, and painting to spec. Teamwork and safety in a noisy workshop are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates; use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Repair dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Aim to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
