Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Sanford, NC, is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each vehicle back to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replace damaged parts and glass, weld and repaint to factory specifications, and ensure work orders meet labor guidelines while maintaining safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Replace damaged parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, fit components, and repaint to specs.
• Inspect completed work for quality and finish on time.
