Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Reidsville, NC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore pre-accident condition. You’ll work with a team to deliver speed, quality and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, repairing dents, realigning chassis, replacing parts and repainting. Must have high school diploma or tech training; lifting up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates using various tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged parts; repair glass.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles per specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
