Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Florida to expertly assess and repair customer vehicles, returning them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish with attention to speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a technical background. Strong teamwork and ability to read work orders are essential in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with others in an auto body shop.
• Knowledge of repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle bodies using tools like cutters, jacks, hammers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, refinish and repaint vehicles per specs.
• Ensure work orders stay within labor-time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
