Gerber Collision & Glass in Sandy Springs, GA seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and repair of each vehicle to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, contributing to speed, quality and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Work with the team to meet KPIs, plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, and use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, and hammers.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of repair procedures and tool usage.

Aufgaben

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Replace or repair interior parts; weld and fit parts; repaint to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
