Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and quality vehicle repair, restoring pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced shop, using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair and finish vehicles to high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of tools and repair methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan and processes.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using required tools.
• Repair dents and body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with parts; repair glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; apply paint per factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
