Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Dalton, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous repairs and quality service. You will thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, and using a range of tools to fix body damage, replace sections, and ensure high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision; thorough understanding of repair methods.
• Ability to use tools required for the trade and work with others in a shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan and repair workflow.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Repair vehicle sections using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage; replace damaged sections or glass.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
