Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as part of our Brand Ambassador role.

You will collaborate with teammates to meet KPIs, work closely with repair staff, and use a range of tools to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammers out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; applies filler resins when needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts as needed.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines; inspects vehicles after repair for quality.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
