Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Puyallup, WA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise vehicle repairs that restore pre-accident condition. You will work with the team to ensure speed, quality, and customer excellence across all touchpoints.

The role involves disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicles, alongside welding and repainting to factory specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer estimates using required tools.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resin when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts; repair glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Aim to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
