Gerber Collision & Glass in Mills River, NC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high‑quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre‑accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, aligning with KPI targets and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, as required.
• Weld and fit parts, prep and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect post-repair vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
