Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Renton, WA, is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by expertly repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, weld, and repaint using factory specifications while meeting KPI targets and upholding safety standards.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle; repair dents and replace parts.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; weld and repaint as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished repairs.
