Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in the United States (Indiana vicinity) to provide exceptional customer experience by assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble, aligning with team goals and brand standards for speed and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Realign chassis, replace parts and glass, and repaint to spec.
• Ensure work meets KPI targets and conduct final inspections.
