Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, weld, paint, and replace parts, while helping the team meet KPIs and uphold the WOW service standard. Prior auto body repair experience is required or a technical school program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, weld and repaint as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
