Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our standards of speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred. You will work with a team to plan repairs, estimate costs, replace parts, and ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with others and understand repair procedures.
• Experience using common auto body tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Repair dents, apply fillers, realign chassis and replace parts as needed.
• Replace or repair glass, weld and paint to factory standards.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect final results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
