Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Westerville, OH seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise vehicle assessments and quality repairs. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while supporting team KPIs and upholding our Brand Ambassador standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, performing welding and painting, and ensuring work is completed on time, with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resins where needed and repair body damage.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and reattach parts; prep and repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs for quality.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
