Gerber Collision & Glass in Mentor, OH is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional vehicle repairs and customer experiences. You will carefully assess and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble components, and support our speed and quality standards.

You will work with a team in a busy shop, use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks and polish finishes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents with fillers if needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with parts and repair glass as needed.
• Repair interior parts and repaint vehicles to match factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
