Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with speed, quality, and customer focus. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding the WOW operating standards and brand values.

You’ll plan repairs, use a range of repair tools, and work with teammates to meet KPIs, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes for every vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school completion or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
