Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence while meeting KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for the company.

The role requires completing a technical program or apprenticeship, strong tool skills, and the ability to work with others in a busy auto body shop environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, pliers.
• Repair dents with filler resins when needed; realign chassis and frames.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts; repaint vehicles per factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
