Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs, from disassembly to reassembly, ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence. You will work with the team to meet KPIs and be a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Collaborate with other auto body repairers to complete repairs.
• Solid understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
• Ability to use tools required for auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates; use cutting tools and jacks to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural issues.
• Replace damaged sections and glass when required.
• Weld, attach parts, and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
