Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Perry, GA seeks an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and realign vehicle structures while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and training through technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship. You’ll use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, and welding equipment to complete repairs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan and repair workflows to meet KPIs.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with precision.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interiors as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs or equivalent.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality and safety.
