Gerber Collision & Glass in Perry, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to accurately assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replace or repair glass, and repaint to factory specifications, while meeting safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with a team to plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, and complete work orders within standard labor times. Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 30 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, and repaint to factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
