Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess vehicles, perform repairs, and restore them to pre-accident condition with speed and quality. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and ensure customer excellence while collaborating with the team.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and either a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. Safety and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates using tools and parts.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins where needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and reattach parts; repaint vehicles per specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
