Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, and ensure quality while meeting KPI targets.

The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and teamwork within a high-volume shop. Compensation is flat rate ($20-$28/hour) and negotiable based on experience, with benefits described below.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use of tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass/interiors as needed.
• Weld and paint to factory specs and inspect for quality.
