Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Glenview, KY is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver expert repair work and an outstanding customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition, and work with teammates to meet KPIs and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and/or technical training, strong tool skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld, paint, and finish repaired vehicles to factory specs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
