Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair and quality workmanship. • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year auto body apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, and repaint to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
