Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida is seeking an Auto Body Technician to thoroughly assess, repair, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble components, realign chassis, and replace damaged sections or glass while applying factory-specified paint and finishes.

You will work alongside a skilled team to meet KPIs, follow the WOW plan, and use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, pliers, and fillers to deliver fast, quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass; repaint to factory specs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
• Maintain safety and cooperate with team in a busy shop.
