Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align chassis, replace parts, and ensure work meets time guidelines while upholding our brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents, dimples, and minor body damage; apply filler resin when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass or windshields.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles to factory or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
