Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver meticulous repairs and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections and replace parts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and either a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.
• Experience with auto body repair methods is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform vehicle repair work within labor time guidelines.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts, weld and paint as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
