Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida is seeking an Auto Body Technician who will assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our WOW standards and brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

You will work with a team, plan repairs, estimate costs, use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers, and ensure work meets labor time guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates; use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts and glass; weld and repaint as needed.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure work meets labor time guidelines and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
