Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver superior customer experiences through precise vehicle repairs. You’ll disassemble, repair, reassemble, and expertly restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while supporting our WOW initiative and KPIs.

You must be able to work with teammates in a busy shop and maintain high safety and quality standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and/or formal auto body training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal auto body repair training preferred.
• Completion of technical program or apprenticeship strongly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates using tools listed.
• Repair dents, use fillers when needed, and realign chassis.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; perform paint as required.
• Meet labor time guidelines and verify repairs.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
