Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician responsible for the accurate assessment and repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, realign chassis, and replace parts, contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the WOW standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read work orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using industry tools.
• Disassemble and repair vehicles, aligning chassis and replacing parts as needed.
• Weld, prime, and repaint vehicles to factory or agreed standards.
• Ensure work orders stay within labor guidelines and inspect for quality.
